Charlotte Fuller is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Sheffield, UK, known for her vibrant use of colour and commitment to sustainability. With a background in Geography from the University of Bristol and a family heritage rooted in textile craftsmanship, Charlotte brings a uniquely soulful perspective that blends environmental consciousness with joyful artistic expression.
Charlotte grew up in the countryside in British Columbia, Canada and nature rich Norfolk, UK. She found herself inspired by vast skies and the rich birdlife of the marshes. Having spent time travelling and working in Australia and New Zealand, she honed her skills in textile design at City Lit in London while producing impactful art-led environmental campaigns, including work with renowned artist Olafur Eliasson. In 2014, she co-founded the acclaimed collective Human Nature, through which she has continued to collaborate, curate, and exhibit work focused on the intersection of art and sustainability.
Charlotte’s designs have been featured by environmentally conscious brands across Europe. Her upcycled blanket collection, stocked by Anthropologie in 2021, exemplifies her ability to merge sustainability and successful design. Working with upcycled and end-of-line materials sourced locally in Yorkshire, her recent collections span textiles and ceramics – celebrating slow, ethical production - exploring the interconnectedness of nature.
